Sullivan Catskills, NY – The Sullivan Catskills are about to get a whole lot more fabulous as they play host to a groundbreaking celebration to kick off summer and celebrate Pride Month this June. "Drag Me to the Catskills" is set to dazzle attendees with a weekend-long extravaganza featuring drag queens, performances, and a vibrant display of LGBTQ+ pride.

NY (May 1, 2024)  – Continuing its 50th Anniversary celebration, New York City’s oldest and longest producing LGBTQIA+ theater company TOSOS (Artistic Director Mark Finley) has announced its TOSOS@50 Pride Party. The event will be held on May 20, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Red Eye NY, 355 West 41st Street (just East of Ninth Avenue) in New York City.

The free event will include a screening of their film essay, Notes on a Siren, which intertwines black and African spirituality and offers a thought-provoking narrative on transformation. Jones will introduce the film and La Sirène, a mermaid from Haitian Vodou.

Albany, N.Y. – A new event in 2024 will add wintertime wonder to the roster of activities available to LGBTQ+ residents and travelers in New York State. The Capital Region’s first-ever Pride Ski Weekend will be held January 20 – 21 at Belleayre Mountain, featuring two fabulous days of slope-side fun for the LGBTQ+ community.

Tri-Lakes Pride EventSaranac Lake, NY (June 6, 2023) –  The Adirondack North Country Gender Alliance is hosting a LGBTQI+ Pride event at Riverside Park in Saranac Lake on June 25 from 12 to 4 p.m. The free event welcomes members of the LGBTQI+ community from Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and neighboring communities, along with their families, friends, supportive organizations, businesses and other allies.

East Meadow, N.Y.  (May 25, 2022) -- After a successful debut, the Second Annual Grass Volleyball Pride Festival, a.k.a “PrideFest,” will return on June 10 to Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, NY.

Hosted in June 2022 by VBLI, a Long Island-based recreational volleyball organization for teenagers and adults, the inaugural PrideFest was an all-day charity tournament that welcomed 186 volleyball enthusiasts, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies from all over the Northeastern U.S.

This is the fourth Lower East Side book crawl to take place (previously, Halloween 2021 & 2022 and Pride 2022).

Otsego Pride AllianceCooperstown, NY (MAY 11, 2023) - June is Pride Month, a celebration of LGBTQ+ self-identity, inclusivity, and equality. To celebrate, local businesses have partnered with Otsego Pride Alliance to present Cooperstown’s first ever Pride Weekend. Celebrating what makes Cooperstown unique, Cooperstown Pride Weekend is a way to gather the entire community to promote equality and celebrate diversity. The festivities will start Thursday morning, June 1 and will continue through Sunday, June 4, 2023.

New York, NY – The Paley Center for Media announced today Paley Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Will & Grace, an immersive must-see exhibition at its iconic Paley Museum, in honor of the series’ milestone anniversary, as the centerpiece of its annual celebration of Pride Month. Visitors to the exhibit will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Universal Television’s series which helped to pave the way for greater representation of the LGBTQ+ community on television.
