A Treasured Thanksgiving Tradition
Each year, Thanksgivings at the Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown are special – and this year is no exception.
The Farmers’ Museum will re-open its doors following Thanksgiving, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27th and 28th, for a specially-designed program offering a glimpse of how Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1845. You’ll see a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal prepared over the open hearth at the Lippitt Farmhouse; visit the museum’s many historical buildings and do some holiday shopping at Todd’s General Store and The Farmers’ Museum Store.
Admission: $9 adults, $8 visitors age 65 and over, $4 children age 7-12, free for children 6 and under and members of the New York State Historical Association.
